we are a group of young people living in Manchester organising for a Green New Deal and the downfall of the fossil fuel industry. we are a relatively new group and currently meet on a monthly basis in-person and online if more suitable. dates to be confirmed :P

we have over nine thousand people sleeping rough in Manchester, we have local communities being priced out of their neighbourhoods, and yet empty office towers and 'luxury' or 'Rent to Buy' apartment blocks are a regular feature of street corners. our hospitals can't cope, our homes are cold and expensive to heat, food prices and energy bills are unaffordable, and rent is rising exponentially. the the list could go on, and on top of this, we are all yet to experience the worst effects of the climate crisis.

if only there was a way to challenge unequal distribution of power and wealth ....... well there is mate... its called the Green New Deal.

tell your friends, tell your neighbours, join our local group in whatever capacity you can. if there was ever a time we need your help, it is now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
